Final Installation

February 11-13, Melody Tiemann, current Clay Resident Artist at the Appalachian Center for Craft, worked with art students at East Central College to transform the halls outside of the art studios. It has remained up for a week since she left, charging up discussions in classrooms and breakrooms. Participants in the work who enjoy the installation are entranced by the sound the paper makes as you pass by. A streak of charcoal finger prints has developed on the wall at the end of the installation and there are some who just don't get it and some who are terrified to walk through it. All in all, everyone performed some mental yoga this week thanks to our new friend. It was awesome Melody!
